BLYSK LLC (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is the developer of the application "QuickTask" (hereinafter referred to as the Application). The Company adheres to the principle of maintaining the confidentiality of its Users' data.
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Privacy Policy) governs the procedure for collection, processing, and storage of any data provided by the User or collected through the Application "QuickTask" on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Android.
By downloading and using this Application, the User confirms that they have read, accept, and agree to the procedures contained in this Privacy Policy. If the User disagrees with any of the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Application "QuickTask".
QuickTask is designed to keep your data to a minimum. Your to-do list lives on your own device by default. Please note that acceptance of this Privacy Policy means that you:
If you do not wish to grant the Company the right to collect, process, store, and transfer your data in whole or in any part, please do not download or use this Application.
Application "QuickTask" — software designed to operate on smartphones, tablets, and computers based on the iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Android platforms.
User — any individual who has downloaded and uses the Application "QuickTask".
Task Data — the content the User creates in the Application, such as task titles, completion status, ordering, and related timestamps.
Voice Data — audio captured from the microphone while, and only while, the User is actively dictating a task, used solely to produce the text of that task.
Device ID — a unique identifier assigned to the User's device, used for analytics and attribution purposes.
Account Identifier — an anonymous identifier assigned to the User for synchronization, and, if the User chooses to sign in, the identifier and email address associated with their Apple or Google account.
Data Processing — any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with or without the use of automated means on data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), depersonalization, blocking, deletion, and destruction of data.
Cross-border Data Transfer — transfer of data to the territory of a foreign state, to a government authority of a foreign state, to a foreign individual, or to a foreign legal entity.
1.1 This Privacy Policy extends to the legal relations between the Company and the User and applies to information that the Company receives about the User during the use of the Application.
1.2 The collection and processing of data is carried out in accordance with the current regulatory legal acts of Ukraine, as well as other applicable requirements for the collection, processing, and storage of data.
1.3 The Application does not require registration to be used, and does not collect names, phone numbers, precise location data, contacts, photos, or the content of your device beyond what you enter into the Application.
1.4 By default, the User's Task Data is stored locally on the User's device. Task Data is transmitted to and stored on cloud servers only if the User activates the optional "QuickTask Plus" subscription and signs in, in order to synchronize the list across the User's own devices (see Section 2).
1.5 The Company reserves the right to collect non-personal, aggregated information about the use of the Application (for example, feature usage and diagnostic "traffic data"). This information is used to analyze and improve the Application's performance, stability, and features.
1.6 The Company takes necessary organizational and technical measures to protect User information from unauthorized, unlawful, or accidental access, misuse, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, and other unlawful actions by third parties.
2.1 The following categories of data may be collected and processed automatically when the User downloads and uses the Application. By using the Application, the User consents to this collection.
2.2 Analytics and diagnostics. The Application uses Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to collect anonymized usage events and crash diagnostics, which may include a device identifier, device model, operating system version, application version, language, and information about events and errors within the Application. This helps the Company understand aggregate usage and fix problems.
2.3 Attribution. The Application uses the AppsFlyer SDK to collect the Device ID and basic device and install information (such as operating system type and version, and application install and launch events) for the purposes of install attribution and fraud prevention.
2.4 Account and synchronization. To enable synchronization, the Application uses Google Firebase Authentication to assign an anonymous Account Identifier. If the User chooses to sign in with Apple or Google to link devices, the Application receives the identifier and email address associated with that account. When the "QuickTask Plus" subscription is active and the User is signed in, the User's Task Data is stored using Google Cloud Firestore so it can be synchronized across the User's own devices.
2.5 Purchases. Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google and managed through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous application user identifier and purchase/receipt information necessary to determine the User's entitlement. The Company does not collect or store the User's payment card details.
2.6 Voice dictation. The Application offers an optional voice-input feature that lets the User dictate a task instead of typing it. Audio is captured only while the User actively holds the microphone button, solely to convert speech into the text of a task. For most languages this conversion is performed by the operating system's on-device speech recognition, and the audio does not leave the device. For a limited number of languages the operating system cannot recognize on-device (currently Ukrainian), the conversion is performed by Apple's speech-recognition service, which means the audio of that dictation is transmitted to Apple Inc. for processing in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy. The Company does not receive, store, or transmit this audio itself, and the resulting text is placed only into the task title field.
2.7 The Application does not collect precise geolocation, the User's contacts, photographs, or camera data, and does not display third-party advertising. Except for the optional voice dictation described in clause 2.6, the Application does not access the microphone.
2.8 The Company does not bear responsibility for the actions of third parties and does not control the technologies used by third parties or how they may be used. If the User has questions regarding a third-party service, it is recommended to contact the provider of such service directly.
3.1 The Company collects and processes data solely for the following purposes:
3.2 The collected data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used for any purpose other than those listed in clause 3.1.
4.1 To provide the functionality described above, data may be transmitted to and processed by the following service providers, each governed by its own privacy policy: Google LLC (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Authentication, and Cloud Firestore), AppsFlyer Ltd. (attribution analytics), RevenueCat, Inc. (subscription management), Apple Inc. and Google LLC (in-app purchases and optional sign-in), and Apple Inc. (speech-recognition processing for the languages described in clause 2.6).
4.2 The Company may transfer data to third parties in the following additional cases:
4.3 Because these providers operate internationally, processing of the data may involve cross-border transfer. Processing is carried out by lawful means, including in information systems using automated means or without the use of such means.
5.1 Task Data created by the User is stored on the User's device. When synchronization is enabled, a copy is stored on Google Cloud Firestore servers to keep the User's devices up to date.
5.2 The User can stop cloud synchronization at any time by not using, or by cancelling, the "QuickTask Plus" subscription, and can remove local data by deleting the Application from the device.
5.3 Where a signed-in account exists, the User may request deletion of the account and its associated synchronized data by using the in-app account deletion option or by contacting the Company at the email address below. The Company will delete such data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by applicable law.
6.1 The Company takes appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect data from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, and other unlawful actions by third parties.
6.2 All data transmitted from the Application to its service providers is sent over an encrypted HTTPS channel.
6.3 The Company is not responsible for the actions of Users aimed at violating or independently changing any privacy settings and/or security measures.
7.1 The Company reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated version.
7.2 The User is responsible for periodically visiting the Privacy Policy page to review any changes.
7.3 Continued use of the Application by the User after changes are made to the Privacy Policy shall be deemed acceptance of these changes.
7.4 In case of disagreement with the changes, the User has the right to discontinue the use of the Application and delete it from their device.
8.1 The Application "QuickTask" is not intended for Users under 18 years of age.
8.2 This Policy applies only to the Application "QuickTask". The Company does not control and is not responsible for other applications or third-party websites to which the User may navigate via links available in or associated with the Application.
8.3 By using the Application, the User guarantees that they will not use its functionality for any unlawful purpose or in violation of the foundations of public order and morality.
